Testing every word against Scripture
The Bible is the true and accurately preserved Word of God, and it has been guiding believers for more than 3,500 years. Everything I have presented to you in this chapter supports that truth. Now, it is up to you to accept or reject the Word of God. But before you make that decision, I want to share with you a remarkable historical event recorded in the Bible, specifically in 1 Kings 13.
There was an unnamed man of God who was commanded by the Lord to go to Bethel and prophesy against the altar established by King Jeroboam in the Northern Kingdom of Israel. Jeroboam was the first king of the Northern Kingdom after Israel divided following the death of King Solomon. Jeroboam established his own system of worship, including an altar at Bethel.
God commanded one of his prophets, referred to as the man of God in 1 Kings 13, to go to Bethel and deliver His message of judgment against the altar. He was also commanded not to eat bread or drink water there and not to return home by the same way he had come. After delivering God's message, he initially obeyed these instructions and departed from Bethel by a different route.
On his journey home, however, an older prophet from Bethel pursued him. The older prophet told the man of God that he, too, was a prophet, and claimed that an angel had instructed him, by the Word of the Lord, to bring the man of God back to his house to eat bread and drink water. The man of God believed him and returned with him. But Scripture plainly tells us that the older prophet was lying.
After the man of God had eaten and drunk, the Word of the Lord genuinely came to the older prophet. He declared that because the man of God had disobeyed the direct command of the Lord, his body would not be buried in the sepulcher of his fathers.
When the man of God resumed his journey home, a lion met him along the road and killed him. Strikingly, the lion did not eat his body, nor did it attack the donkey. Instead, the lion remained beside the dead man while the donkey also stood nearby. This extraordinary scene strongly suggests that this was not an ordinary animal attack, but a specific act of divine judgment, just as the Word of the Lord had declared.
God gave specific commands to the prophet identified in Scripture as the man of God, yet he allowed himself to be deceived by another person's words. There is an important lesson we can draw from this event. God's Word is true and trustworthy. The man of God had already received clear instructions directly from the Lord, and he should not have abandoned those instructions simply because someone else claimed to have received a message from God that contradicted them.
I share this event because Jesus warns that false prophets will arise after His earthly ministry. There have been many false prophets and self-proclaimed religious authorities who deceive people today, including those who claim that the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, has been corrupted and can no longer be trusted.
There are other religions and so-called teachers who attempt to convince Christians that Jesus Christ is not God, but merely a prophet. Such a teaching contradicts what the Bible reveals about the identity and divinity of Jesus Christ. The account in 1 Kings 13 gives us a powerful warning: we must not reject or disregard what God has already revealed simply because someone comes later claiming to have received a newer revelation or a message that contradicts His Word. Matthew 24:11 warns:
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
Apostle Paul specifically warns about an angelic message in Galatians, which connects well with the account in 1 Kings 13. Paul writes in Galatians 1:8
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
The Bible does not contradict itself, and God would never send a person or an angelic being with a message that contradicts His revealed Word. Jesus Himself warned us about deception in Matthew 24:4–5:
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceives you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”
It is my hope and prayer that you will stand firm in your faith and trust the Word of God, as I do. Let no one deceive you or lead you away from the truth into false doctrine. Remember, there is only one God, His Son is Jesus Christ, and His Word, revealed in both the Old and New Testaments, is the truth by which every teaching and doctrine must be tested.
Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God and the final, perfect sacrifice for sin. No later prophet, teacher, or claimed revelation can replace Him, add to His finished work, or proclaim a message that contradicts the gospel He entrusted to His followers.

My hope is that godly citizens will take the information, verify it with their own research and study, and then help teach their fellow citizens about the truth of our founding and the need to Restore America's Foundation, Jesus Christ.

The call to Restore America's Foundation has been ignored for more than one hundred years, which is far too long. We have allowed politicians, activists, and rogue courts to remove God from our schools, agencies, and the public square. Look at what is being taught in many schools today. It's unbelievable. We need to reverse all of this and the only way to accomplish that task is through prayer and education.
